Family Reunion

My sisters in-law family had a fun reunion up at Aspen Grove.  They had asked me to come up and take a few pictures. It was a lot of fun, especially since I have been friends with several of them through the years!  I took a big Family picture and then individuals of each family. One family also asked if I would take individuals of their kids as well.  It was a huge learning curve with a huge family...  Wow, but each time I go to a new situation I learn and hopefully keep getting better.  Thanks Shelly family, It was a great evening!

First Newborn Shoot

My precious Nephew was born about a week ago and I was privledged to take is pictures!!  What a doll... Newborns are definately harder than I had thought, But a challenge is good!

My kids "School Pictures"

I refuse to pay for the school pictures for my kids, on occassion maybe they turn out ok but come on seriously the money you spend on them for one head shot...  with either a blue, green or gray background...  Yeah it is just not happening.  So when I was in Idaho I took some of my kids as well.  I will get their class picture but that is about it! So here are a few of my favs from each kid.  Love these two rascals!

Pricing for family photos

I have had a few questions concerning my pricing...  I am still learning so while in the learning process I charge $150.  (this price will change in time) That includes a the sitting fee, and a cd with 30-40 images and that gives you full copy-right to do whatever you want with the images. I usually take on location pictures and if you want me to travel farther than the Provo/Orem area there may be a small traveling fee as well.

When I do a shoot I take pictures of the family, the couple alone and each child alone.  I am up to any ideas or props you may want to incorporate and feel free to give me your ideas as well. I am even willing to go to more than one location if they are close to each other. I LOVE photography and am loving learning more about it with every shoot and each family.  Don't put off getting your family pictures done any longer, lets set up a time and have some fun!

The Swalbergs

Yesterday I took some pictures for my Friend Sinika and her adorable family of boys!!  We had a great time, though the littlest guy wasnt sure about the whole standing still and smiling bit...  Reminded me of my son at that age, always on the go! But we still got some pretty cute shots! 

I love this couple, they are so interesting and fun! She is in my bookgroup and I sure love hanging out with her.

Idaho Fun

Well my sister doesnt really like paying the high prices for school pictures that dont really turn out that cute... So we decided that we would go visit and get some cute pictures instead.  Actually is was cheaper to do it this way and she can do whatever she wants with the pictures! (Plus did I mention that this is cuter and cheaper...)  I had a fantastic time!  I have another shoot today and if people want fun pictures of their kids or family pictures for the holidays give me a shout! 



These two are two of my favorite people...  Thanks again for letting us come play!






I narrowed it down to 2 of each child...  Though that was really hard.  I had at least 10 of each that I liked, but didn't want to overwhelm you!
